The yacht features an innovative open-deck layout with multiple social zones including a sun deck with sun pads, bow seating with a teak table, and a stylish beach club with tender lift. Thanks to high-performance Volvo Penta IPS engines (with up to 2 x 1,000 HP), the yacht delivers a maximum speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots, ensuring both agility and fuel efficiency.
Inside, the BG74 offers elegantly appointed accommodations for up to 8 guests (6+2), with a spacious owner’s suite, two guest cabins, and a separate crew cabin. The saloon is designed for luxury living, complete with a 50” TV, Hi-Fi system, and custom furniture. The fully equipped galley includes an induction cooktop, oven, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher perfect for extended trips or onboard dining.
Built with premium materials like vinylester resin, biaxial and quadriaxial fiberglass, and RAL-finished surfaces, this yacht is as durable as it is stylish. It includes advanced features such as digital automation, air conditioning throughout, Hi-Fi systems in all main areas, and a 20.5 kW generator. The BG74 is CE certified in category B, ensuring safe and stable offshore cruising.

Tom is a passionate and experienced captain with over ten years at sea, including eight in the superyacht industry and more than 30,000 nautical miles sailed. Starting as a wooden boat builder in 2013, he gained deep knowledge of boat design before becoming a qualified captain. Dedicated, hardworking, and a lover of water sports, Tom sees captaining not just as a profession, but as his true calling. He speaks French and English.

Lara, from South Africa, brings a strong passion for the ocean and a versatile skill set to yachting. With a hands-on approach, she confidently supports deck operations, interior service, and cooking. Her dedication, work ethic, and attention to detail ensure high standards across all areas. Fluent in English, Lara is committed to creating memorable experiences and warmly welcoming guests on board.

Since graduating from hospitality management, Susan has worked in the luxury sector across the globe. Travelling has always been an important part of Susan’s life. Originally from the Netherlands, she spent the past 15 years living overseas, including time in Curaçao, Aruba and the British Virgin Islands. She is currently based in Lisbon and discovering more of the beauty of Europe. Set out to pursue projects that she is passionate about, she wanted to use her love of travel in her work and took the opportunity to join the Boatsters team. After several years of delivering unique guest experiences in the travel and leisure industry, Susan fits perfect in the role as our Personal Concierge. She works with guests, captains and brokers to provide innovative and unique experiences around the world – which is where she finds the greatest satisfaction.
David has been part of the team since the start of Boatsters Black. Not only has he seen Boatsters Black grow immensely over the past few years, he is one of the main reasons for the growth.
While helping Boatsters Black to the top of the charter industry, David has created an extensive yacht and client base, delivering the kind of personalized yacht charter experience that only a specialist with inside information can offer.
As Sales Director for Lengers Yachts Belgium and avid traveller, Philippe brings an abundance of knowledge to the table when speaking about the perfect summer vacation. As the head organizer of the famous Zoute Rally in Belgium, and with experience in the private aviation sector, Philippe is not a new face to the luxury industry. With his kind and open personality, Philippe offers a listening ear and is ready to assist you in his office in Knokke or via phone or email.
Coming from a family deeply rooted in the yachting world, Lyam brings a fresh and forward-thinking perspective to the Boatsters Black team. With a strong foundation in yacht innovation and a passion for elevating the client experience, he’s driven to redefine what modern brokerage means.
