When Astondoa celebrated its 100-year anniversary, the 100’ Century was the ideal commemoration, melding the traditions of the Spanish shipyard with the needs of the today’s yacht customer. The technological advances in hull design have enabled Astondoa to continually update its family-run shipyard, using advanced 3D printers, five-axis machining, infusion and vacuum-based construction. Incorporating the newest synthetics like carbon and Kevlar and metals like titanium, into its fiberglass hulls, Astondoa has enhanced its builds, which are optimized for space, flexibility, durability and weight, positively impacting speed and fuel consumption.
