The vessel Xcel 70, built in 2025, is an impressive sight to behold. Built by the esteemed shipbuilder, XCEL Yachts, the model is recognized as an epitome of craftsmanship and innovation. The catamaran, measuring an impressive 23.5m (77′ 2″) in length, showcases the company’s commitment to excellence and the ability to design and build vessels that stand the test of time.

As one gets an initial glimpse of the Xcel 70 catamaran, what immediately strikes you is its magnificent size and groundbreaking design. The catamaran stretches to 23.5m in length, which translates to 77 feet and 2 inches, creating an imposing presence at sea. This size is thoughtfully distributed to create a balanced and comfortable on-board experience, bypassing any feelings of cramp or claustrophobia that can sometimes come with extensive yachting trips.

Stepping onto the deck, one can truly appreciate the broadness of the catamaran and the immense level of preparation that has been crafted into the model by XCEL Yachts. The expansive, teak-clad surface promises plenty of space for moments of relaxation as well as for holding elegant social gatherings. Multiple sun pads and lounging chairs, together with a large dining area, provide luxury and comfort to its occupants. The flybridge is another highlight, present on the upper deck it is the biggest in the market with 80 square meters and can be customized as per needs. It houses cutting-edge navigation systems from the industry’s leading manufacturers, and features luxurious leather seating for guests.

The builder, XCEL Yachts, with their years-long experience in the yachting industry, masterfully incorporated several innovative features within the Xcel 70 model. One of these features is the eco-friendly hybrid propulsion system on demand. This forward-thinking system combines traditional diesel power with an electric motor, making this massive vessel surprisingly fuel-efficient considering its size.

XCEL Yachts further made sure that the Xcel 70 is built to tackle any adverse weather conditions. Their ingenious naval architects designed the hull and structure of the Catamaran to be robust and withstand intense winds and high waves. This aspect enhances passenger comfort and overall safety, while making it a highly reliable vessel on long voyages. The twin-hull design typical of catamarans also means greater stability and lesser roll at sea.

The vessel accommodates up to eight guests in its spacious staterooms and cabins, which were designed to make the best use of its 23.5m length. Rich wood paneling and neutral color schemes lend a warm and welcoming ambiance. Each cabin has its own ensuite, ensuring privacy and convenience.

The Xcel 70 also boasts professional-grade kitchen facilities, offering the ability to prepare a diverse range of culinary delights, from quick snacks to full-course meals. The presence of state-of-the-art electronics and entertainment systems ensure that the guests on board never run out of leisure options.

First unit will be launched in January 2025. The vessel represents a perfect blend of opulence, practicality, reliability and performance, thanks to XCEL Yachts’ resolve to create a vessel that meets and even surpasses the standards of luxury yachting. The Xcel 70, with its magnificent build, design, and features, aspires to elevate the yachting experience for its on-board guests, offering unparalleled sea travel that blends comfort and seaworthiness. It is a true gem among luxury catamarans, and a testament to XCEL Yachts’ commitment to crafting lasting, timeless vessels.
