ORIZZONTE Charter Itinerary: Riviera Glamour to Sardinian Chic
Charter ORIZZONTE on a seven-day crossing from the French Riviera to Sardinia, covering 224 nautical miles through some of the Mediterranean's most varied scenery. The route begins at Nice and St Jean-Cap-Ferrat, moving through hilltop Eze and the racing heritage of Monaco, before an overnight crossing to Corsica's Calvi. From there, the itinerary threads through the volcanic cliffs and untouched grottoes of the Scandola Nature Reserve and the roadless hamlet of Girolata, down to Napoleon's birthplace at Ajaccio, and on to the limestone citadel of Bonifacio before island-hopping into Sardinia via La Maddalena and finishing at the yacht-club glamour of Porto Cervo. The journey balances cosmopolitan stops on the Riviera with days given over almost entirely to nature, from UNESCO-protected coastline to dolphin-frequented coves accessible only by sea. Onboard ORIZZONTE, the contrast between Riviera polish and Corsican wilderness becomes the defining rhythm of the week, with Sardinia's Costa Smeralda as a fitting final note.
