Lagoon 55 SOFIA is a brand-new luxury catamaran launched in 2025 and available for charter in Southern Italy, offering an exclusive sailing experience in the Mediterranean. Designed to accommodate up to ten guests, Lagoon 55 SOFIA features five spacious cabins, including three double cabins and two twin cabins convertible into double beds, ensuring comfort, flexibility, and privacy for all guests. Chef
Benilda is a 47-year-old Filipina Stewardess/Cook with over 22 years of experience serving private yacht owners in Italy, where she has lived since the age of 19. Throughout her long career, she has built a strong reputation for her professionalism, discretion, reliability, and genuine passion for hospitality. For more than nine years, she has worked continuously aboard the same private catamaran, developing extensive experience in all aspects of onboard hospitality and guest care. Accustomed to working in an exclusive private environment, she provides attentive, discreet service while ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay on board. Her responsibilities include housekeeping, cabin preparation, interior and exterior detailing, provisioning support, table service, and the preparation of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks, and aperitifs. Passionate about Mediterranean cuisine, she prepares fresh, flavourful dishes using high-quality ingredients, always paying close attention to presentation and to guests' individual preferences. Her excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail ensure that the yacht is maintained to the highest standards at all times. Having spent over two decades serving demanding yacht owners, Benilda has developed exceptional operational autonomy and an intuitive ability to anticipate guests' needs. Calm, hardworking, and highly adaptable, she works seamlessly with the captain and crew to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the yacht, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delivering a consistently high level of service. ALESSANDRO GIORDANO
Deckhand
Alessandro is a motivated and well-trained Deckhand with solid experience on passenger and commercial vessels, including ferries and motor yachts. He has developed strong seamanship skills through multiple embarkations with major maritime companies, where he was involved in deck operations, safety procedures, watchkeeping support and daily onboard duties. With a background from a nautical institute and ongoing professional training, Alessandro brings a disciplined, reliable and safety-oriented approach to his work. He is comfortable working in team environments, adapts well to life at sea and contributes positively to onboard organization and operations. His technical knowledge, combined with good communication skills and a proactive attitude, makes him a valuable support to both deck officers and the overall crew, particularly in busy charter or passenger operations. ANTONELLO MOSCARELLI
Captain
Antonello is a professional Captain with extensive experience in catamarans and luxury charter yachts, operating throughout the Mediterranean. He combines solid navigational skills with a strong focus on guest satisfaction, safety, and efficient yacht management. He has a deep knowledge of the Italian coastline and islands and he is confident in planning and managing both weekly and daily charters, tailoring itineraries to clients’ preferences. His background in hospitality and entertainment allows him to create relaxed, well-organized and memorable onboard experiences. Languages: Italian (native), English (basic, working level)
