As you have noticed during your yacht charter, Montenegro’s beauty is unsurpassable. The Bay of Kotor is enchanting and home to majestic mountains, old stone houses, ancient fortresses, secluded beaches, hiking trails and ancient olive groves. Once everyone is comfortable riding their ATVs, your guide will lead the way to the Moric farm, stopping regularly to check if everyone is doing okay and to point out the breathtaking views you will only encounter while riding off-road. Don’t forget your cameras to take plenty of pictures! The first stop of the day will be the Moric farm, where you will be taken on a tour around this family-owned and operated estate in Luštica. You and your loved ones will have the unique opportunity to explore the rich abundance of one of Montenegro most famous olive-growing areas.
The Moric family is the only certified manufacturer of organic olive oil in Montenegro. You will learn everything about both the traditional and modern process of olive oil cultivation, harvest and production and of course get plenty of time to try the local product. Ilija Moric and his family have developed a household environment where guests are offered homemade specialties and find an opportunity to experience Luštica and Boka through tradition – from the preserved agricultural landscapes to the details of vernacular architecture, valuable collections of useful items, all while entertaining you with their authentic stories about life in the village back in the day and now. The Moric family will show you the old olive grove. Don’t be surprised! There are donkeys waiting for you to hang out with and when you can finally tear yourself away from them, you will be shown the modern olive mill used for the organic production, as well as the old traditional mill used in the last century. Try the local olive oil, paired with some homemade delicacies, while seated in the authentic environment of the old mill and don’t forget to bring some of it home – or back to the yacht, for your chef! The tour includes a hike to the village of Tici, where you will visit the new and old olive mill in an intimate and private setting.
Fresh seafood at restaurant Ribarsko Selo
Time for lunch! Let’s hop back on the ATVs to make your way over to restaurant Ribarsko Selo, meaning Fishing Village, located right at the sea in Boka Bay. Every day between 11 and 12 in the morning, local fishermen bring in freshly caught fish. The restaurant offers their guests a unique local experience. All the dishes prepared at the restaurant are made from fresh ingredients and vegetables that are organically grown in the nearby garden. Try their homemade iced tea, a perfect refreshment while lounging on the beach. Or order one of their delicious cocktails, whipped up to perfection, you deserved it!
After lunch, relax at the spacious and comfortable beach with a beautiful view of the entrance to the Bay of Kotor and the open, pristine sea. Swim in the crystal-clear water and have fun in the sun with your loved ones. If you are still up for some more action, you can take out the kayaks and explore the nearby beaches of Mirište and Žanjice, famous for their beauty. Have another one of their delicious cocktails, while being blown away by the view from your comfortable lounge chair.
