Captain
German-Australian David Gölling combines extensive Mediterranean cruising experience with a warm, guest-focused approach. Having sailed from a young age and progressed through competitive racing and professional yacht operations, he brings confidence, professionalism, and a genuine passion for life at sea. David previously served as Captain aboard the CNB 66 Cecini, managing luxury charter and owner operations throughout the Mediterranean, and currently serves as First Mate and Relief Captain aboard the 95ft sailing yacht Patea. Known for his calm demeanor, attention to detail, and excellent guest care, David is dedicated to creating safe, memorable, and enjoyable experiences on board. Fluent in English and German, he enjoys sharing the best of each destination while ensuring every charter runs seamlessly from start to finish.
