ALE
The Azimut S8 “ALE” redefines what a modern motor yacht can be, pairing exhilarating performance with the kind of effortless comfort that turns every passage into part of the holiday. Designed by naval architect Alberto Mancini and launched in 2024, she’s built for those who want to experience the Mediterranean entirely on their own terms.
Her open superstructure dissolves the boundary between salon and aft deck, letting guests drift naturally between air-conditioned ease and the open air without ever feeling like they’ve left one space for another. Starlink keeps everyone connected wherever the day takes them, while a full outdoor sound system means the mood on board is always exactly the one you choose.
Nine guests sleep across four beautifully appointed cabins: a Master suite, a Queen, a twin, and a twin with an additional pullman berth, flexible enough for families or groups of friends. Underway, she reaches a top speed of 34 knots, with stabilisers both at anchor and at sea keeping the ride smooth whether you’re cutting across open water or relaxing at a quiet bay. The flybridge is open to the sky and laid out generously for long lunches, golden-hour cocktails, and lazy afternoons that drift into evening.
A professional crew of three handles everything else, freeing guests to simply enjoy the experience, and an extensive selection of water toys means there’s always something to do the moment the anchor drops. ALE is the Mediterranean, full throttle.

Stewardess
Anna is a warm and experienced yacht hostess with over eight years in the yachting industry, built entirely in the waters she knows best, the Bay of Naples and the Tyrrhenian. Her career has taken her across a succession of private motor yachts, including the Ziacanaia Riva Opera 80, the Watanga Diano 96, the Anne Marie Ferretti Custom Line 97, and several vessels based between Casamicciola, Ischia and Castellammare di Stabia. Professionally qualified as a First Class Hostess, Anna combines genuine warmth with the precision and discretion that private yacht guests expect. She is at home with the full rhythm of onboard hospitality, cabin preparation, table service, guest relations and interior upkeep, and brings the reliability of someone who has spent years earning the trust of owners and captains alike. Carmine Ruocco
Deckhand
Carmine is a young mariner from Piano di Sorrento whose connection to the sea runs deep, shaped by a nautical diploma, years of hands-on work in the Gulf of Naples and Salerno, and the kind of practical curiosity that makes him genuinely useful both on deck and beyond it. Since earning his nautical licence in 2022, he has spent three seasons as Skipper with charter operators in the area, building real confidence in vessel handling, mooring, guest management and day-to-day operations on the water. Straightforward, adaptable and quick to learn, Carmine also brings basic mechanics knowledge and a natural ease with guests, honed during four years of hospitality work at Hotel Montemare in Positano. He is exactly the kind of deckhand who quietly gets things done without needing to be asked twice. Languages: Italian (native), English, Spanish
Andrea Carpinelli
Captain
Andrea is a captain whose relationship with the sea stretches back more than three decades, from his first postings as a sailor and motorist on private yachts in the early 1990s through to his current command. Based in Agropoli, he has spent the majority of his career at the helm of private and charter motor yachts across the Mediterranean, with highlights including command of the Canados 80 Blue Star across multiple seasons, a charter season aboard a 92-foot catamaran in the Atlantic and Caribbean, and most recently the Riva 70 and a current posting with Delfin Sas. Andrea brings the kind of quiet, authoritative seamanship that guests feel the moment they step aboard. His decades of experience navigating Mediterranean waters make him a reassuring and knowledgeable presence at the helm. Languages spoken: Italian, English
