Dan Corcoran
Captain
Captain Dan Corcoran began his yachting career young. At the age of 15, he started washing boats at a local marina in Spring Lake, Michigan, and at 18 years old became a licensed Captain. During breaks in college, he ran boats back and forth from Michigan to Florida. After graduating he moved to Florida to run boats full time. In 2001, after upgrading his license, he embarked on running larger yachts and in 2012, ran a 151’ Northern Marine, For 15 years, Captain Dan and his wife, Toni, ran yachts cruising the East Coast of the US, the Great Loop, the Tennessee/Tombigbee waterway, and the Bahamas. With 40 years of experience as a captain, he holds a Master 1600 GRT license and always puts the safety of his guests first. Out of all his years of experience, the Bahamas holds a special spot in Captain Dan’s heart, and he loves giving the guest a truly unique experience and showing the Bahamas “through his eyes”. Captain Dan calls Tampa home, where he loves to spend time with his wife and dogs.
Katie Krupansky
Deck hand
Katie Krupansky – Mate / Deckhand Katie brings a positive spirit and can-do attitude to every yacht she joins. With experience aboard vessels from 54’ to 167’, she’s known for her strong deck skills, attention to detail, and hands-on approach to maintenance and tender operations. Her enthusiasm for the ocean is matched by her active lifestyle and adventurous mindset — whether managing a tow, keeping the decks spotless, or helping guests make the most of their time on the water. A University of Tampa graduate with a background in business marketing, Katie combines professionalism with a friendly demeanor, making her a valued member of any crew.
Gary Cartron
Chef
Originally from France and now based in Doral, Miami, Gary Cartron is a seasoned chef with over 26 years of culinary expertise, including two years specializing in yacht charters. His passion for fine dining, precision, and creativity allows him to craft exceptional menus tailored to each guest’s preferences. Gary has worked on Never Blue (120’), Sweet Virginia (110’), Nectar (120’), and numerous luxury day charter yachts, bringing world-class cuisine to the yachting industry. His extensive experience spans the Caribbean and the Bahamas, where he consistently delivers top-tier dining experiences. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, he seamlessly adapts to diverse international guests and crews. Dedicated to elevating yacht gastronomy, Gary envisions launching a chef consultancy to train and place elite culinary professionals on yachts and private estates. With a high-energy approach, exceptional culinary skills, and a commitment to excellence, he ensures every charter is a five-star dining experience.
