Katerina Stathaki
Chef
Katerina, is Greek and was born in 1997. She is a graduate in MSc in Biotechnology at the Agricultural University of Athens but her passion for sailing lead her to yachting. She is a versatile professional with a diverse background in hospitality, yachting and sports. For the last years, she worked as a hostess for Multihull Yachting in Lavrion, managing crewed catamarans like the Lagoon 52. She has also been involved as well with Lagoon 42 and Nautitech 46 Fly. Prior to this, Katerina gained extensive experience in the service industry, working as a waitress, bartender, and hostess at various restaurants. Katerina has leadership experience as a team leader for Trekking Hellas in Karpenisi. Thanks to her friendly and kind personality, Katerina is ready to create unforgettable memories with the guests! Her hobbies include volley, sailing and surfing. Languages: Greek (native), English (fluent), Spanish (fluent), French (fluent).
George Iliopoulos
Captain
George Iliopoulos was born in Athens in 1992. He studied Computer Science & Business Research at Athens university of Economics and Business which is considered the premier University in the field of Economics & Business in Greece. Since an early age he has been travelling with his family throughout the Aegean and the Ionian sea with monohull and catamaran yachts. George has obtained the International sailing license since 2000 and from that moment on his passion for travelling in the sea only deepened. Each year he has been sailing in the Greek waters either with friends or as a skipper with people who wanted to experience the beauty of our country. George has participated in a charity sailing race in the Aegean in 2016 and positioned himself in the 1st place. He has also received the international speed boat operator license. In terms of his sailing experience, George has visited all the main islands of Greece more than once, getting acquainted with itineraries, points of interest and weather conditions, therefore becoming a trustworthy Skipper that you can rely on, regarding the arrangement of your trip. In addition to his experience, he has also sailed from northern France to Greece with a catamaran Yacht all over the Alboran and Mediterranean Sea, a trip of 2.600 miles in total. George’s excellent communicational skills and his love for children make everyone feel safe and secure on the boat and it also creates an exceptional bonding between the crew and the customers. This is one of the main reasons why George has been receiving excellent feedback from our customers. Finally, he has also received first aid training courses from Red Cross Organization to have the knowledge and, more importantly the confidence to deal with emergency situations that may affect a child or an adult on board. He is not a smoker.
