COME PRIMA is a masterclass in Benetti design, and is the fifth yacht from the Italian Shipyard’s Golden Bay Series. Delivered in 2000 and refit in 2023, she is a cruising yacht with capability, reaching speeds of up to 18 knots. COME PRIMA is a steel and aluminium monohull displacement yacht and is built to ABS class. She is powered by two MTU 12V296 TE94 diesel engines, capable of achieving 3,8000 n/m and is equipped with zero speed stabilisers.

At 50m (164’ 1”) long, this tri-deck motor yacht offers a charming space from which to relax and unwind. Packed with amenities, COME PRIMA accommodates up to 12 guests in her 6 staterooms. Located on the sun deck is a large shaded sunbathing platform, Jacuzzi, bar and lounge area. Her main deck includes a second sunbathing platform and dining area. A water sports centre and gym area complete her exterior. The interior includes a full beam master stateroom on the main deck, a VIP cabin on the upper deck that converts into a twin cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins located on the lower deck. A main salon and dining area offer sumptuous relaxation, and a second lounge and bar area provide a superb space for entertaining. Entertainment onboard includes a home theatre television and media centre, wifi throughout and an exceptional range of water toys.

Katinka Bohm

Chief steward/ess

Katinka has over 27 years of experience in the service industry, working across hotels and restaurants in Germany, Namibia, and South Africa, and developing strong operational and interpersonal skills during her time at Palmwag Lodge. She later studied Exercise Science in Cape Town and worked as a personal trainer and stunt performer, gaining experience with high-profile clients and a strong sense of discretion. Transitioning into yachting, she progressed from stewardess and cook to Chief Stewardess, building expertise in interior operations, guest relations, and team coordination. Known for her professionalism and attention to detail, she delivers exceptional service while fostering a positive onboard environment, now bringing her experience to M/Y Come Prima.

Simone Britz

2nd stewardess

Simone Britz was raised on a farm in South Africa’s Cape Winelands, where she developed a strong work ethic and love for the outdoors. She has over six years of experience as a stewardess in the yachting industry, working across the Mediterranean on both private and charter yachts. Known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and calm demeanor, she is a reliable and valued crew member. For the past three years, she has worked on a private vessel in the United States, cruising the Bahamas and Caribbean. In her free time, she enjoys strength training, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.

Jade .

3rd Stewardess

Growing up at the southern tip of New Zealand, Jade developed a strong connection to the ocean and life on the water. Over the past two seasons, she has worked aboard yachts in some of the most remote cruising grounds, including Western Australia, New Zealand’s fiords, and the Great Barrier Reef. Jade is known for her warm, professional approach and takes pride in creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Timo Scheffel

Deckhand

Timo was born in Munich and raised in Cape Town. He has worked as a deckhand for three seasons and has a strong passion for the ocean and water sports, with kitesurfing being his favorite.

Paul .

Chief engineer

Paul is an enthusiastic, motivated, and calm individual with a strong aptitude for teamwork. Mechanics is his passion, both personally and professionally. He has been sailing since the age of six, including match racing on various types of sailing boats. With over 21 years of experience on both motor yachts and sailing yachts, he brings a versatile skill set and solid onboard expertise.

Aimee Bartlett

Junior Stewardess

Aimee has six years of hospitality experience across resort and restaurant environments in New Zealand, with strong housekeeping and guest service skills. She holds degrees in Psychology and Marketing and previously ran a dress rental business, gaining expertise in garment care. Most recently a Marketing and Communications Advisor at Deloitte, she delivered high-profile events, developing strong skills in discretion and working under pressure. She has since transitioned into the yachting industry, bringing her diverse experience onboard M/Y Come Prima.

Christopher James

Deck/Engineer

Christopher James is a dedicated and quick-learning professional with a strong work ethic. He has studied photography and yoga, and has shared these skills by offering courses to guests. With a deep connection to the ocean through surfing and freediving, he remains calm and composed under pressure. His long-term goal is to become an Officer of the Watch (OOW) on a yacht in the Pacific while contributing his photography and videography expertise onboard.

Mathieu Doeslch

Chief Officer

Passionate and detail-oriented, he approaches every challenge with rigor and enthusiasm. With 13 years of experience in the yachting industry, primarily on charter vessels, including navigation off the beaten track in regions such as Newfoundland, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas, he has developed strong leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills essential to delivering exceptional guest service. His modern management style combines professionalism, clear communication, and an outgoing personality that builds strong relationships with guests and crew alike. An active lifestyle— including golf, motorcycling, water sports, and skiing—has strengthened his precision, balance, and resilience.

Julien .

Deck/Engineer

Julien is originally from Brittany, France. His first experience at sea was serving in the French Navy for two years, which inspired him to pursue a career as a seafarer. He began his professional career in the Merchant Navy as an engineer and has since built extensive experience in the maritime industry. For the past 14 years, he has worked in the yachting industry as a Chief Engineer, overseeing the operation and maintenance of luxury vessels.

Rhys .

Bosun

Born and raised in beautiful Cornwall, England. These days, Rhys splits his time between the sunny shores of Florida and my homeland.
He’s have been working aboard yachts for the past 7/8 years on all sizes of vessels all around the world.
During his down time he enjoys traveling to many exotic places surfing while his other interests are, scuba diving, skydiving, sailing, snowboarding and wake boarding.
The crew would describe Rhys as a joyful and sociable person, he always has a story or fact to say to bring conversation in, he is dedicated to his job and you can definitely tell!

Richard Villareal

Chef

Richard was born and raised in France in the 70’s but is originally from Vietnam. At a young age he gained his interest in cooking when he was living at home with his family, he would take pride in helping them cook as he was a true gourmet. He began his culinary studies in Paris, where he also achieved a diploma in French cuisine and began to grow in the food industry, he spent many years cooking in the homes of royalty from Monaco and Qatar. For four years in his lifetime, he was a chef in the immigration ministry in France and later worked in mandarin’s oriental palace in Switzerland. After some time, he decided to open his own independent catering company, which was open for 12 years strong, but sadly closed due to the pandemic as well as his two restaurants in Thailand. His most popular catering client was the Paris yacht marina, where he provided exceptional food on many occasions, and in the summer seasons he would work on a yacht. Richard loves to travel, carrying his tennis racket everywhere he goes hunting for a competition. During his travels, he discovers something unique from the culture and interpretates it into his recipes, as he thrives off a challenge. He shows passion in cooking Vietnamese, Japanese and Thai Dishes, however, is confident with all cuisines including Italian, Mediterranean and many more.

Pascal Le Guillanton

Captain

Pascal has over 30 years of experience in the yachting industry and 23 of them - as a Captain on both private and charter yachts in the waters of Cote d'Azur, Corsica, Sardinia, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Turkey and Greece. Pascal is French and speaks fluent English and Italian. During the years of charter experience, and having served guests of various nationalities, he has learnt to adapt and reply efficiently to individual requirements. Pleasant, fun, professional, reliable, volunteer are just few words to describe him. Passionate about his job, Pascal is a responsible Captain that will put every effort together with his crew into making the guests enjoy their stay on-board. He is always going to assure a professional and discreet service and receives great praise and feedback from previous guests.
