Privately owned since her purchase and immaculately presented throughout, a RINA class, ZULU 3 joins the charter market for the first time. Get ready to explore the breathtaking Dalmatian Islands from the Istrian peninsula and mainland villages in the North, the Central Dalmatia and Split, to the Old Town of Dubrovnik in the South in great style and comfort. She can be arranged from any port including Venice and Montenegro.
ZULU 3 accommodates 8 guests in 4 en-suite cabins, a large king – size master suite on the main deck fully serviced and equipped with a Loewe smart TV, ceiling-mounted surround sound, and iPad controls. En-suite bathroom features his and her sinks, a spacious shower with marble walls, and a separate en-suite area. One VIP (convertible to a twin) and 2 double (all with king size beds) with the same amenities are located on the lower deck, all beautifully appointed and decorated in neutral and relaxing tones offering plenty of natural light. All cabins are extra sound insulated and installed with a 24000btu AC trio system for cooling, heating and dehumidifying ensuring the most comfortable environment.
The interior done by Francesco Paszkowski is both luxurious and innovative, featuring iPad-controlled systems for blinds, lighting, and audio-visual equipment. Super-fast Starlink, a music and movies library, an open-air cinema, smart TVs, various board games and play consoles are a selection of amenities available to guests. The main saloon with a bar area and an additional dining area is designed for both comfort and entertainment. The guests can either opt for a formal dining setting or have a more relaxed dining style. The guests will have an opportunity to sample some of the best local dishes prepared by our much adored chef Marin – Mali Ston Raw Oysters, Istrian Truffles, Marin’s (Chef) famous ‘Gregada’ a stew fish all this accompanied by excellent local wines such as Grk Posip. Although a very small producer, Croatia’s wine making goes back to the Greek colonies where the Greeks planted the first vineyards on islands of Vis and Hvar. The Stari Plain, a UNESCO site, is still in use, where mainly grapes and olives are grown due the Ice Age loess deposition that makes the soil extremely fertile. ZULU 3 is also able to do the North Adriatic and the guests can combine a visit of intriguing Zavratnica Bay (that hides the intact catamaran sunk by the British Navy on 24 Aug 1944), Porec, Rovinj, Pula, stunning Limski Canal with a visit to Venice. The guests will have an opportunity to add a lot of other activities such as cycling, hiking, wine tasting, GOT private tours of Dubrovnik, and more.
In addition to her beautifully appointed interior, ZULU 3 offers a fantastic exterior layout spread over three decks (three decks are rare with Sanlorenzo, newer models have 2 decks and a Jacuzzi located next to the dinning table on the sundeck) from an al fresco dining opportunities on the aft deck, an additional dining area on the upper deck and a fully shaded sun deck with a Jacuzzi, sunbeds, a bar and sun lounge chairs. While stationary, the guests can enjoy the most diverse list of water toys including a Jet Ski, E foil, Sea Bobs, SUP boards, kayaks to name a few. Scuba diving can be arranged locally. She is also the only 34m motor yacht in the Adriatic that features the brand new 11.50m New Fjord 38 Xpress Chase Boat with an en-suite cabin (other Sanlorenzos in the Adriatic have open chase boats with no en-suite cabins) and robust performance allowing the guests to venture into secluded bays, access remote beaches and ports or have a private beach BBQ.
She is attended by a fabulous team of 6 led by Duje Filipovic, one of the best Captains in the Adriatic, who together with his crew ensure the guests are very well looked after and their experience of the yacht as well as Croatia is superb. Kenad is a well experienced marine engineer who joins us this summer. Strong engineering professional with a High School focused in Mechanical Engineering from High Nautical School Ambroz Haracic, Kenda worked on a number of local and international motor yachts including AIDA Cruisers, one of the largest cruise fleets in Europe. Kenad is fluent in English.
Antonia Barada
Chief steward/ess
Antonia is 27 years old, and from Trogir, Croatia. She has a background in photography and massage therapy, which has helped her develop a strong eye for detail and a passion for creating relaxing, comfortable environments for others. She is a positive, adaptable, and creative person with a quick mindset and plenty of energy. Her ability to stay flexible, get things done quickly, and maintain a calm and approachable attitude makes her a valuable asset on charter. She is an outdoor enthusiast, and enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and motorcycling. Her love of nature, adventure, and the sea perfectly fits the dynamic world of yachting.
Vedran Romic
Deckhand
Hailing from Mali Losinj Island, Vedran graduated at the University of Maritime Studies in Rijeka (he is also an accomplished fisherman and fishing is his great passion). A hard working deckhand with a lot of experience working on a few yachts, Vedran is a great addition to our Zulu 3 team. He speaks English and Croatian.
Marin Grbac
Chef
Marin grew up in Opatija, a small town on the coast of the Istrian Peninsula in western Croatia. As a child, he spent most of his time in the kitchen with his grandmother where he discovered his passion for cooking and learning all the secrets of Istrian superb cuisine, which is renowned throughout the world. With 10 years of experience working in yachting, Marin is a dependable worker who knows his way around. He knows the yacht, but especially the kitchen like the palm of his hand! Chef Marin prepares interesting, delicious meals with fresh ingredients every day. With good service and high-quality food, he makes sure that his guests have the ultimate gastronomical experience with every meal. His signature dish is 'Gregada'.
Tea Gregorovic
Stewardess
A graduate of the Hospitality and Tourism High School in Opatija (the most prestigious high school for tourism in the country), Tea started her sailing career with the local catamaran provider in Trogir. From there she progressed to large catamarans and motor yachts where she perfected her skills and communication with the guests. She works alongside Kristina and ensures the guests are very well looked after. Tea speaks Croatian and English and is enrolled at the local University for Teaching.
Duje Filipovic
Captain
With over 20 years of experience in the yachting industry, Captain Duje Filipović is a very enthusiastic, experienced and organized seaman. Duje has previously worked on various charters and private yachts and his area of sailing as captain includes Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Cyprus, Lebanon, the Gulf of Mexico and the Mississippi river. Duje has a great way with guests, including children, and has repeatedly demonstrated skill, patience, and professionalism. He has a fun, can-do attitude and he takes pride in his work and strives to achieve only the best. Duje is married with 3 kids.
