Alan Valdes is a versatile Deck/Engineer with solid experience on large yachts up to 70 metres, bringing a strong combination of technical knowledge and hands-on deck expertise.  Having worked on both new builds and busy cruising programmes, he is experienced in engine room support, maintenance routines, and troubleshooting, while also contributing to all aspects of deck operations including tender handling, exterior upkeep, and guest activities. With a practical and proactive approach, Alan plays a key role in supporting both the engineering and deck departments, ensuring the yacht is maintained to a high standard and ready for smooth day-to-day operations. Brandon Treurnich is a qualified Mate with a strong background in deck operations, engineering support, and tender driving, bringing valuable versatility to the crew. Having progressed from deckhand to mate/engineer on a 33m charter yacht, he has developed solid experience in both technical operations and guest-facing roles, including tender handling, watersports supervision, and day-to-day deck activities. Brandon will be responsible for operating Katana X’s brand new Wajer 55 chase boat, delivering a high-performance and seamless experience for guest transfers, coastal cruising, and watersports activities. Energetic, reliable, and team-oriented, he contributes to a safe and enjoyable environment on board while enhancing the overall charter experience. Captain Arthur Miller is a highly experienced yacht captain with over 20 years commanding luxury yachts in the Mediterranean, supported by a maritime career spanning more than 25 years. Having operated a wide range of yachts up to 52 metres across both private and high-demand charter programmes, he is recognised for his strong work ethic, hands-on leadership style, and ability to deliver consistently successful charter seasons. Chef Olivier Sourdot is a distinguished culinary talent whose career has been shaped within some of Paris’s most prestigious establishments, including Hôtel Lancaster and the iconic Le Jules Verne, along with internationally recognised Michelin-starred restaurants. Bringing over a decade of experience on luxury yachts across the Mediterranean and Caribbean, he delivers an elevated dining experience defined by precision, creativity, and a deep understanding of guest expectations at the highest level. His cuisine blends the elegance of classic French gastronomy with refined international influences, using only the finest seasonal ingredients to craft beautifully presented, tailor-made menus. With a strong focus on detail and consistency, Chef Olivier transforms every meal into a standout moment of the charter, offering guests a truly exceptional and memorable culinary journey.

Ventsislav Hristov is a highly qualified Chief Officer holding an Unlimited STCW II/2 license, with a strong background across both commercial shipping and luxury yachting. Having progressed rapidly through the ranks, he brings valuable experience from yachts up to 58 metres, including both private and high-demand charter programmes, where he has successfully managed deck teams and supported busy operational schedules. With solid expertise in navigation, safety management, and deck operations, Ventsislav plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the vessel. Professional, reliable, and guest-oriented, he is equally at ease overseeing technical operations as he is interacting with guests and supporting onboard activities. Dmytro Syrota is a highly skilled Chief Engineer with over 10 years of experience across commercial vessels and luxury yachts, holding an Unlimited III/2 engineering certification. Currently serving as Chief Engineer on a 61-metre motor yacht, he brings extensive expertise in the management, maintenance, and optimisation of complex onboard systems, ensuring reliability and efficiency at all times. His background includes hands-on experience with a wide range of engines and technical systems, as well as a strong ability to troubleshoot and respond effectively in high-pressure situations. Detail-oriented and highly organised, Dmytro plays a key role in supporting smooth vessel operations and uninterrupted charter schedules.
